“Dark Vader” been massively influenced by Hujaboy’s sample database. I’d rather call it a positive mutation towards the success theyve earned with this album. I dont really appreciate this type of Psychedelic Trance, but this one would be an exclusion (this one only). Whole record is well constructed, making it impossible not to dance with it. At least one of these tunes must be played at any party… and it was. Through 2005-2007 E-Jekt was massively heard everywhere. With their stomping sound they’ve finally reached London “Psy Invasion” when I got to hear their almighty set at last. The live set was partly ruined though, due to cops arriving earlier than usual, but then luckily the best part (which included the best album titles) went ahead full-on, releasing the euphoria to the crowd. They’ve managed to produce a sound which hypnotises the listener with their classy bass lines and breaks. This unusual way to present the low frequencies makes their sound stand out, it feels like the bass is separated from other samples, so its like hearing one or the other. A must have if you want to dance your tits off once in a while…
