Although i haven't heard the original mix of this track yet, i'd have to say that the James Holden mix is for lack of any better word, beautiful. I first heard this track on a live set that Envio did on Trancesphere Radio earlier this year and it really stood out. The chilled temperament of this track as well as the flowing ethereal melody combine perfectly with the rolling kick which seems more of an articulation of the bassline than an actual kickdrum really sets the mind at ease.
While this track does have a very subdued sound, it still retains a level of energy that makes this track ideal for mixing with nearly any genre of Trance. Anyone who wishes to hear an unique sound in trance should listen to this.
