One of my best pieces of vinyl right there. This record is a total banger and both sides are just blasting. Too bad there isnt more like this anymore out there, this was a prime cut from the meat of the techno era. Super duper yummy good nicey nice techno for the people who know. This is never ever leaving my record collection and now that I think about it I should make a mix with this in it just to enjoy the tune again.

Hot In The Heels Of Love is often listed wrongly and mistakenly called Hot On The Heels Of Love (listed incorrectly on carl cox's f.a.c.t!)
Anyway, this is a sublime piece of pure techno that will instantly make you want to play it over and over again. This piece of vinyl makes most modern day techno seem bland and uninteresting in comparison. Oh and I forgot to mention; it's absolutely banging!!!

The first play of 'Hot On The Heels Of Love' prompted my mate to state (with a confused expression) 'I think your speakers are f*cked'. Which pretty much sums up Dave Clarke's mix - in a positive way. A metallic, clanging, distorted stomp that sounds like a smashed up car, that is somehow funky as hell. But 'Allerseelen' has my preference. Trademark Jeff Mills loops and textures arranged to create a sound that is consistent but never quite the same throughout. Glorious from beginning to end!
