...And the most ironic thing about it? After spinning this again and again for what? four years now? I only now just realized that the voice that's luring you into the song is none other than... Willy Wonka. Had this been promo'd as a song sampling the movie "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory" I probably never would given it a second chance... but touché - the label never mentioned the mystery voice ... and it worked. "Chocolate Room" works on all levels - artistically, conceptually - and in the club as a floorfiller - its got just enough of 'that something familiar' to tease you, but plenty more originality and funk of its own to get you to keep coming back for more... Sort of like really good chocolate, actually.
