Phonex / Sense - Phonex / Sense Split

Sense was a mainstay in electronic music early in the 2000s, and (unfortunately) his best material was released on this little split. Phonex is represented here as one of the thousands of electronic producers who managed to get on a label & release some tunes in 2000-2002. Phonex offers small melodic dillies - reminiscent of early lackluster. Not a lot there, especially when looking back from 2009. The two Sense tracks are smooth & delicious; flowing thoughtfully with purpose & splendour. Senses downtempo goodness would only be rivalled on parts of his A View From A Vulnerable Place release.
