This volume 2 of deep & mellow soul from the 70's, faithful to the spirit of the first volume, gathers for the first time a collection of unreleased, rare and prestigious tracks. Produced at the time by "big shots", usually from forgotten labels.

These 12 superb soul tracks include Gloria scott, Isley brothers, The Checkmates, The Sandpeebles (beautiful early 70's deep soul), Margie Joseph, Erma Franklin, and others.
