This is the Carpenters' best album. Every song on it is a gem. Karen gave us her finest vocal performances with "Desperado" and "Solitaire". "Only Yesterday" is the album's best song and the favorite of fans around the world. "Please Mr. Postman" ended up being Carpenters biggest selling single worldwide and was a hit in more countries than any of their other singles. "Horizon" was a huge hit around the world making the Top 20 in several countries.
