User Reviews:

Economy_of_Force, Jan 03, 2006

2005 was the Bitstream brothers' year. Not content with blowing the electro scene apart with the embarresment of riches that was their 'Domestic Economy 7' LP, they shred the Mode's latest offering with rampant glee.

The 'Threshold Mix' is everything a good remix should be, throwing what sounds like the best bit of every electro/techno/Miami track ever made into 6 shuddering, stuttering minutes of electronic goodness, while on the flip, the brothers loose Martin Gore and co in a trippy, squiggy stew that sounds not unlike Autechre's 'Amber'-era, albeit with pummelling bass and atmospheric guitar swoops.

Bring on 2006.
