This record is amazing, but if you want to hear something more than just percussive patterns, the outside tracks are the way to go. Just the right amount of stabs and tones, and more swing than you can shake a stick at. Santos Rodriguez is indeed Grain, whose other releases on Fatcat are remarkably sick. And hard to find.
