I bought this lp from spinadisc in 1988, and immediately loved it. My fave at the time was Acid generation. The whole lp had an anonymous feel to it. I also love the Moody Boys track on it with its chorus, keep pumping baby, keep pumping. Which to my delight one day whilst watching the horror film Demons 2, I noticed the same line being spoken in the film, awesome..its the bit in the gym where the instructor is talking to someone doing weights. Respect

One of my favorite acid house compilations. Starting off with "Joi Bangla Sounds' - Taj ma house" and it's harry krishna chanting, it's a bit silly but a good example of electronic cheekiness. Another good one is "Force Motive - You will be dealt with", this oozes blobs of dark black plastic out of your speakers - great tune. "Acid Generation" is a bit more typical in sound for the time, this record reminds me of that silly acid dance we all used to do at the end of the eighties - both arms stiff, raised above your head & moving your hips and knees as if you were on a wobbly boat ! "Boogie Woogie music" is a good 'n' as well - quite hypnotik. My two favorites though would have to be "Acid Bitch" (a record I used to turn down & or go bright red when my parents were around) - with it's moaning and groaning 'oh baby' & it's pure rounded acid sound and bubble distorted vocals - great tune && "Mister Monday - Keep on" - a sort of New Beat / Acid cross over tune. Excellent Compil !

I am unaware if Acid Bitch can be found on any other vinyl and it is a shame as the sound quality is poor. One of my all time acid house favourites too...I still remember the look on my mums face when she heard this blaring out from my bedroom all those years ago. Went down about as well as "Where's Your Child" or Sleezy D's "I've Lost Control" as I remember.

I wouldn't call acid bitch "uplifting", but it's one of my all time favs. Very dark acid track about addiction, with a guy moaning stuff like "nooooo I don't want to go, leave me..."

Acid Bitch is a superb track, up-lifting old-school (sh101 like style) acid-house with great vocals... unfortunately the mix/sound-quality is not so good on this one.

This is a really cool compilation of what must have been going on in the UK back in 88/89. Some really great tracks among the OK-ish ones, particularly You Will Be Dealt With and Acid Generation.
