scoundrel, Feb 26, 2004 As much as I liked Reflections, I like Reflections on Reflections better. Theres just more diversity to the sound -- aided, in no small part, by the list of outstanding remixers, each adding their own flair to the original composition. So we have Carl Craig turn "Asa Nisi Masa" into an ambient Detroit journey, and Autocreation turn "Mihara" into a thumping techno track. Each and every track has its charm; the only disappointing one would be the remix by Scanner -- I was hoping for more of the eerie, paranoid Scanner sound. But an excellent collection overall. Was the above review useful to you? (report)
