I have a slightly mixed feelings of this cd.
The reason why I got this was the criminally funky number "Space Boogie" BLT is known of. I had no idea if the other tracks were worth of disc space and after listening Im glad to say - they do!
This album is rather dry - very restrained use of melodies and althou BLT has more than broad effects palette, he uses only a few at the time. This creates a feeling of minimalism, yet intriguing one as BLT clearly has ideas where to lead the music.
The slower tracks are something of a tech/progtrance hybrid. I dont like them as much as the faster tracks where the BLT groovejuice just squeezes out like there was no option.
I dont know who should I recommend this to... I usually listen more intense, colorful and melodic music. Yet there are times only BLTs funk does it.
Minimal psyfunk - Does that sound good to you? If yes, dont hesitate to get yourself a copy. This is just one of those albums youd skip without a recommendation so heres one. :)
