Being quite a departure from WTTPD it seems a lot of people were let down by Liverpool. It certainly never created the commotion their debut release did. Which cannot ALL be ascribed to the fact that Liverpool contains no Relax monster to create a hype.
That is a shame cause in its' own right Liverpool is a strong album. And I like both Watching The Wildlife and For Heaven's Sake - actually, I think the latter is one of the strongest tracks here. Kill The Pain takes that prize, though. On the other hand, the two first singles Rage Hard and Warriors Of The Wasteland never really did it for me.
