Reviews & Discussion

Almost better than the original source material for these mixes which turned up in various forms over the ep's. This is more danceable and straight ahead then the album. Certainly more accessible than the original epic double CD. Yes, the import was deleted after one day just to get the punters and quite likely additional licensing potential interested in the then still young Orb. Caroline bought it and went and picked it up for stateside release.

Reportedly The Orb wanted their debut album to be a 3CD release but the label wasn't prepared to do that for a new artist so instead this album (which can be read as the "Orb remixes") was issued to accompany the 2CD Adventures album. The original release was only available for one day before being deleted - this version can be recognized by the "mastered by Nimbus" text on the centre-reverse of the disc (a later but otherwise identical version is marked Mayking). The album also had a US reissue on Caroline which is easier to find.
