Reimer Eising, aka Kettel, scores again with the uplifting, and very inventive, "My Dogan". There is so much complexity, innovation and depth to his music that the old comparisons to Black Dog, Plaid, Autechre et al, just melt away. Other electronic musicians will be compared to Kettel. The programming is crisp, melodies sturdy, keyboard, especially piano, powerful. Are the female vocal choruses real or virtual? I played this CD five times in one week and there are devilish new treats to be discovered with each replay. Very highly recommended. Was the above review useful to you? (report)
