BUNKERHEADZ, Apr 26, 2006

A rare piece of Ambient 'n Trance here on ESP Records.
This twelve is a Limited Edition promo teaser for the compilation CD 'ESP VOL. 3 "The Ambient Groove"'.

On the A side we find Ken Ishii under his Rising Sun alter ego delivering us a nice cut of IDM, a wicked tune to trip on in those late hours . . .

Microglobe gives you a decent piece of German craftmanship by pleasing your ears with some quality German Ambient in the best tradition, those German sounds we loved so much in the early 90's.

The B side is what makes this twelve one to hunt it down, 2 trax only released on this Limited Edition release:

Starting with Wax, an aka of Robert Meijer wich is more famous for his Gabba project High Energy on Mokum Records then the Chill Out sounds he pulls outta his gear: an absolute weird combo of soft Breakbeats, deep subs, sweeping synth pads and a melody riff that makes you smile and dance.

And last but not least this sought after tune wich is only released on this piece of vinyl: Phil Western's XMT with Atlantic Under Clouds.
A tune that can be described as a slow New Beat track with Trance elements.
It's slowly builds and builds with it's cowbell looking sound untill it grabs you, play it round +10% to achieve maximum hypnotic effects, what a monster!

If you like this sound I recommend to hunt down this twelve, or find the CD on ESP or the SUN CD release to have these beauties in your collection...
