The music does not fit into a genre or category other than "electronic". Some of it is hard, pounding, distorted and gritty. Some is on a minimal afterhours tip (seas of sand in particular is amazing). Other outstanding tracks are Pier Bucci, and David K (holy deepness on this one).
Aside from the beautiful music, the packaging and overall presentation of the box set is just so freaking cool. The outside box has light purple/dark purple striping, the cocoon logo, and a full track listing. The back side of the outside box is grey with a black slightly recessed cocoon logo. When you open it up you get an insert with pictures of each artist along with 6 beautiful purple records encased in their own purple sleeve with recessed cocoon logo. If you are a collector, and into modern dance music I guarantee you will love this.
