a guy in a lesbian club, a tough girl in a boy's world... we are proud not only to confuse others (confusion after all, has become a fashion accessory) but moreover, to be confused. clenched fist raised, hair down. same thing.

in the language of love, the same word is used for "genre" and "gender" is the same; the perfect angle for this compilation then. "what is the genre of this cd?" people ask. "what is your gender?" your parents demand. genre. gender. genre. gender. genre. gender... and what about your family: what is their "genre"? and moreover who the fuck is your family? normal/abnormal? whatever. we probably all reconstructed ourselves here, in this dysfunctional family, the one that fucks both gender and genre.

at kill the dj, straight genre and gender are long dead and buried. an absence shared by us all in a dark and seedy club, where a blonde wears a moustache with elegance, where the toilet attendant is a guy in a mini skirt, and where a sweaty white vest is the flag of our personal revolution. but no surrender.

talking about the music... not a habit of ours but... first and foremost (carved in stone) dirty object, dirty music: a lovely death-dream where darkness burns like the sun, where your girlfriend is a biker aho drives fast fast. but also where slow is the new black. paradise.
