DESIRE, one of the best tracks off Mulu's SMILES LIKE A SHARK album, finally gets the full remix treatment. Grantby orchestrates his mix so that it swells and flows on the strings and bassline. Quite sublime. Mr. Scruff's version uses strings as well, but lets the double bass take center stage for a slightly peppier and jazzier mix. The Wiseguys go for a similar feel, though the vocals seem a touch out of tune. The prog-house mix from Tall Paul is unsurprisingly cheesy, but just enough to get you on the floor (and for being the "Vocal" mix, it doesn't really utilize the vocals effectively). Both the Redmen and Shere Khan put forth drum 'n' bass mixes, one atmospheric, the other aggressive. A nice set of remixes overall.
