John B soldifies himself as the creater of the new genre Electrostep. The fusion of electro and drum is so catchy, I can see this really taking off. This album is more akin to dancerock than I expected (seen in the three remixes), but I like a little guitar in my drum Hey Mickey and Tainted Love are not remixes, but totally reworked tracks with new vocals that make these fun 80s tunes we loved when we were younger something sexy and dirty wrong. This is an album of floor fillers (if you like your dancefloors filled with girls wearing socks on their arms and too many belts...I do). The only downside I see to this album is the lack of variety Im used to with previous John B LPs. Midnight Air is just about the only semi-serious tune on here. Regardless, this is still a top-notch album breaking new ground miles ahead of most boring drum producers these days.
