I'd say Mfg is on par with Astral projection as the two best Israeli goa-trance producers. Indoor and Dimension 5 are up there aswell!

I bought this album a few weeks ago because I'd heard when we dream on goa-head 4 and loved it. Also I've heard to eternity on goa-head 3 and magnetic activity the 97 mix on goa-head 2 and 96 remix on pulse 3. Which are all killer tracks so I think Their previous album the prophechy will be almost if not just as cool!

I'm writing this review for the simple fact of how much I love the track -Alien's Land-. From the beginning voice sample saying "Indication of an alien civilization" to the eerie singing-like synth... This track is what 90s goa is all about in my opinion. The rest of the album is no snooze either, infact every track here is top notch. MFG were at the top of their game when this CD hit the shelves. It was an even more mature version of their debut, The Prophecy. Their technique and methods were much more developed this time around. As stated above, no cheese or filler here.. Straight up goa trance.

This album is definetely up there with the rest of the best of the mid- nineties Psytrance. Every track here is good. No fodder, no cheesy samples and no boring moments. I could listen to this over and over. Few others compare to this one and it should be in any serious collector's stash.

Why turn the world upside down to find obscure trance acts when you can just go with the big names? Together with a few other names, MFG represents THE midnineties melodic goa sound, and New Kind Of World is a smashing example of MFG at their finest. Melodic, multi-layered, dance-oriented, and psychedelic, this appeals to any midnineties psytrance-head and an essential MFG release together with The Prophecy and Project Genesis. All still widely available there really is no excuse.

This is IMHO the best goa trance album ever made. It has anything - from the pure energies of When We Dream & Peaceful Relaxation, through the psychedelic sounds of The Waking mind to the tribal beats of New Kind of World. No cheese here - even the clubby melodies of Experience were twisted so much to keep it more than psychedelic.
Simply brilliant.
