I tend to half-agree with Kalex. In my opinion I think the title track is indicative of the transformation from Koxbox to Psychopod. Their first Psychopod single has already come out on TIP in '96, and if you listen to Too Pure back to back with a track like Seriaf (TIP Beyond Colour), you'll definetely hear the similarity.
On the other hand, the TIP remix is pretty darn good. TIP is represented here by Graham Wood and Raja Ram. I would fathom that a reason this particular TIP remix is so good is because Raja worked on it (sometimes TIP is Graham Wood and R Rothfield.) I don't think that TIP quite did justice to it, given Koxbox's penchant for the complicated party. However, you don't see many Blue Room 12"s with TIP on 'em.
