An absolute ruler of a compilation in the psychedelic genre! Some tracks are described here –

The Delta’s opening track - A fusion of industrial sounds, weird melody, distorted sound samples and a metallic beat.

Andreas Kruger’s “Downhill V.2” - remixed by Massimo Vivona, the remix is exactly Vivona’s style – progressive, quiet, slowly building yet irresistibly groovy.

Next comes “Spiritual Healing” by The Muses Rapt, the perfect morning track. Its melody almost sheds tears in my eyes every time I hear it. On disc 2 we find a remix by Domi Pastor & DJ Jorg. It’s more or less the same, just arranged differently and slightly longer.

Simon Posford & Richard Trevor of Green Nuns OTR give us “Loin Sleeps Tonight”. Starts with some funny singing as if by someone drunk but suddenly the chant is swamped by loads of “hallucinogenic” sound layers.

Under the Super Skunk alias (late) Jake Stephenson gives us “Planet Bliss”. This underestimated artist also produces “Cloudhopping” with Matt Hillier! The latter track softly closes disc 1. It starts with a soft ambient melody, then more layers are added alongside a mid-tempo beat and deep bass. Track finishes with about 3 minutes of ambience during which the voice of a man as if reading on TV or radio is sampled.

Disc 2 opens with a MWNM remix of Quietman’s “The Sleeper”, again another remix with that super recognizable Martin Freeland sound. Next comes “Power Of Celtic” by Shiva Shidapu -> half Infected Mushroom + DJ Jorg!

Next come two cuts by Astral Projection and Cosmosis. Need no discussion! Green Nuns OTR give another mad track “Klunk”. Fast, acid infected, some mad voice samples and totally mind-boggling.

Hallucinogen comes next with “Gamma Goblins Pt. 2”. This version has more sound layers than the original, and samples not just the melody of some goblin film/cartoon but also their voices and sounds. Super fav of mine!

Disc finishes with another perfect morning track by CHI a.d; “Astral Warrior”

The tracks I didn’t mention is not to get longer with the comment – not cos’ aren’t worth!

Compiled by Alexander Vandenbroek & Ron Torpedo at Real Studios in Madrid, must be the best from this series, and not only – MUST BE one of the best goa
compilations ever - 100/100!
