First issue (edition of 2,000) housed in a sleeve made of sandpaper, assembled by Ian Curtis, who needed some extra cash. The other members of Joy Division watched a porn movie while sitting in the same room as Ian. Initial copies included a flexi disc with two tracks by Martin Hannett and catalogue number FACT 14C.
The sandpaper sleeve comes in various editions: Some with spray-painted FACT 14 in black or in white, some without spray-paint.
