This was arguable one of the best early tape recordings I ever purchased for my mono casette player (could not record) which I purchased in 1972. The tape has now entertained three generations of my family, although the plastic player fell to pieces years ago. It offers perhaps the broadest take on wide musical comedy (much if it based on the BBC) of the later 1950's and sixties and as such it has both a historical and hysterical interest.

Still going strong and now well into it's third decade, I recommend this as a good outing for everyone who is young at heart and has a good ear for musical comedy. Because of the wide range of pieces on offer it is likely that not everything will entertain everyone, but there will be very few English people who will not get at least one good belly laugh fron this tape.
