It might be easier - for people who had the chance to listen to Ricardo play in Fabric, Panorama Bar, Robert Johson - to understand what Ricardo is trying to do in this record. I say that because i believe that in those places he can express himself more freely than other clubs and also has the chance to play always longer & deeper. For me Fizheuer Zieheuer encapsulates the essense of his sound: deepness through repetition, using his classic sound palette. It's one of these very bold and audacious tracks which you go home and remember exactly because it stands out of the same banging stuff you hear all night long. It's a trip and it's not supposed to make people go wild, get a grip people! It's a VERY hypnotic piece of music, really well produced and made by Rircardo FOR Ricardo & his friends, in my opinion. So many times i went home after listening to him, haunted by the memory of that very repetitive long track that i heard the night before. Sometimes it was Fizheuer Zieheuer, sometimes Cinderfella LTD - Western Geocentric....Though it might not be his most original track musically (one of the very few tracks he uses samples anyway) but in terms of setting a vibe on the dancefloor a true Ricardo classic, masterpiece.

It's not only a djtool.
It's also a great background track!
You can be at home and do whatever you want and still have those nice blowing beats. It was fun playing this track for about 3 hours one day. TV was on and off, friend even played NFSU2 and i still could listen to this track in background. It's catchiness is just a bit deeper. It greatly works outside with mp3 player - doesn't distract your attention while still giving you straight minimal and unexpected variations of live instrument sounds.
It's more.
It's listeningtool.
