The soundtrack to your own horror movie.

Sure there have been numerous dark ambient releases that have cinematic quality but never before have I heard one that is so life-like. Almost every track makes use of wood instruments that recreate sounds of scratching, walking and even raining (An Ordinary Hike showcases this very well). Svarte Greiner is 1/2 of the duo that makes up Deaf Center, but you probably wouldnt be able to tell had you not known because the style is such a departure from their sound. The album gets labled as acoustic doom, which I can understand due to the strings used in it, but for me, this album is much more a soundtrack for a low-budget indie horror movie that takes place in the woods. Very creepy stuff.
