Escape From New York (2) - Save Our Love / Slow Beat

"Save Our Love" by Escape From New York is the perfect melodic euro-disco song for anyone who loves that early- to mid-eighties era when new wave, italo disco, and hi-nrg was abundant all over Europe and elsewhere. "Save Our Love" has great male/female vocals and very similar production values to that of the great Bobby Orlando. This release comes off of the Profile Records label which was based out of New York City - hence this groups name, Escape From New York. It still surprises me how an American group on hip-hop label was able to carbon copy that authentic eurodisco sound across the ocean.
