Whoa, i used to play both mixes of this back in the day. I couldnt decide which one was better, i think the original stole it by a nose.
Military like percussion and some heavy basslines are the order of the day here. I'm not usually keen on male vocals in dance tracks but Carltons classic vocal works surprisingly well. There are some interesting sound used here that were not used in many speed garage tracks, it has an almost dreamy trancy feel to it. The production has that distinct Serious Danger sound - if you were a Speed Garage head back in the day, you could tell one of his tunes a mile off.
This track does sound good on a club system, the only problem with it is, is the energy level of the track is so high, that following up with another tune can prove tricky.
