Rotterdam has developped herself into one of the main capital dance cities of the world in the last two decades. Loads of superstar DJ's and producers have their roots in the harbour city and even the world wide reknown hardcore sound was founded in Rotterdam. The place where it all started was the infamous Parkzicht club... This club was one of the very first venues where house music was spinned in the late 80’s and early 90’s. For house minded people, Parkzicht was the place to be; it opened its doors around 22:00 PM and closed when the party was over, which was mainly around 11:00 AM.

In this legendary club, top DJ's like Rob, Stanton, Joshua and Ricky Da Dragon were the resident jocks every friday and saturday… Loads of other big DJ's such as Parkneger (better known as Darkraver), DJ Paul, Michel de Hey, DJ Panic, DJ Gizmo and many more regularly stood behind the decks to make a guest appearance… People from all over Holland, Belgium and even France, Germany and Great Brittain travelled to Parkzicht in the weekends to have the time of their life!

In early 1997, Parkzicht was forced to close the doors due to the city government regulation as they had other plans with the location, this to big regret of the owners, DJ's and visitors. Parkzicht is classic, Parkzicht is a legend, people still talk about the golden period of this wicked club and the outstanding location, atmosphere and the ever innovating music is very much missed...

Ten years after Parkzicht was closed, b2s Events came up with the plan to organize a Parkzicht reunion; on the 25th of November 2006,
thousands of house classics lovers gathered for this event where the good old "Parkzicht sound" was presented in three areas by DJ's as DJ Rob, Stanton, Panic, Parkneger, DJ Rob, Paul Elstak and all former residents. This trip into history was surely one of the best events of 2006 regarding the spectacular feedback of the visitors on loads of internet forums; a perfect opportunity to give all music lovers the chance to re-experience Parkzicht with a massive triple pack mix compilation which offers in total 6 massive dj sets, live recorded at the Parkzicht reunion of November 25th.

DJ Rob, Stanton, Parkneger, DJ Panic, Ricky da Dragon and Joshua will surely take you back to the late 80’s straight to the mid 90’s,
offering over 80 early house, early tech and early rave tracks. Even the design is brilliant, hillarious and totally Parkzicht worthy!
