Goldfrapp returns to the mirror ball with _Ride a White Horse_, another upbeat single off their bestselling album, _Supernature_. Francois Kerkovian gives two dancefloor-ready mixes, both deep and juicy, although the “Disco Whores Dub” is obviously deeper and vocal-less. Ewan Pearson shoot straight for outer space with his long, two-part mix, and Serge Santiago adds more of a martial beat for his more aggressive mix. But the real stunner is the B-side, “Boys Will Be Boys,” which sees Goldfrapp returning somewhat to their first album. It’s a full-on cabaret song, filled with 1920s jazz muted trumpets. It’s a dark and seductive track, carried by Goldfrapp’s inimitable voice. Was the above review useful to you? (report)
