Anyone who grew up in Northern Europe in the last decades of the 20th century will probably have been subjected to the Moomins: White and soft Scandinavian “trolls” that lived in their very own Moomin Valley from which they set forth to appear in various books and cartoons.
Seemingly inspired by this the A side is a collaboration between Seba and Lo-Tek wich can best be described as something like a frozen flower in full bloom. The track is driven by a warm chord melody and an Apache break which then builds up to a more rolling beat layered with icy strings. Unbelievably deep this track stands as a testament to musical genius.
The AA side is Seba alone indulging in a deep fusion of jazz and a crisp as autumn air Amen break. Perhaps not as stunning as the A side but it is still a superb track.
