Blue Pearl - Mother Dawn Remixes

I've pondered the logic behind this release, either it's contractual obligations, or Big Life wanted to cash in on the success of “Blue Room”. The Orb has done this kind of stoned dub groove much better on other releases. Buckateer Mix 1 (drum and bassline) and Mix 2 (ambient synths) appear to me as demos of Mix 3 (which itself had benefitted of better editing, 13 minutes is really stretching it, switching to 45 rpm might do the trick though?). Lunarci's mix is best forgotten: prog house du jour with far too much cheddar.
