Reviews & Discussion

LES Djinns is an arrangement of the original track called Turkish ShowBiz written by Atilla Engin and released in an album called MARMARIS LOVE in 1986 in Denmark. Djuma SoundSystem sampled/illegally "borrowed" the guitar intro which was the entire melody and they named to LES Djinns. And they further registered the track, illegally, on their own names.
The real composer of LES Djinns is Atilla Engin.
This matter's being litigated in Danish courts, now at its final stage.
The lawsuitis amounts to $500.000 Dollars for punitive and compensatory damages.
