Mountain People, The - Mountain003

Its been a while since Ive written a review on discogs and I cant believe no one has commented on this release, so here you go...

"Mountain003" was easily one of my top five favorite tracks of 2007. I played this one a lot. I fit it smoothly (smiling all sexy) into nearly every set. Those bongo/toms/whatever just rip right threw anything else I mix with it. Theyre so clean and tight and punchy as all hell. This beat is as fresh as hot teen ass. And the break is so simple. No big, unnecessary buildup. Everything is stripped away only briefly before that PERFECT beat is brought back in with another element (of course).

God I love this record. I bought two (or three?) copies immediately after it was released. I knew "Mountain003" was going to be one of my favorite tracks. EVER. And I was right. It is. It always will be.

Simply perfect. And it can be mixed with just about anything of similar tempo since theres barely a melody; one neednt worry about matching keys or vocals.

I really love the "Mountain005" record as well. I forget which side I play, but its fucking incredible. Just buy it. Buy them both!!! Youll thank me. With money. Youll give me money.
