First time I've heard about FFWD was with "Lucky Saddle" which was playlisted on the "Trance Europe Express - Volume 2" compilation, I've got this since a very long time, but I've never paid attention on it, when two months ago, I discovered this fabulous track, every sounds on it are a vision, it's just like you are... not a microphone but a camera... not the camera but the movie, the depth of the synth elements is just fabulous. The atmosphere is really cold and very intense, it's like time was suspended, you can feel that you are living a very special moment when you're listening this, "the soundtrack of your life". Believe me, this is just ESSENTIAL in your record library. This is probably one of the best all time ambiant album.referencing FFWD, CD, Album, inta 001 cd
Iridescent soundscaping, clicks and expert dubology make this one of the most under-rated ambient albums of the mid-nineties.
Check out Robert Fripp's 'The Gates of Paradise' (1997 , Discipline Mobile Global) or Fehlmann (feat. Fripp) EP 'U-god embryo battle. overflow minus-one'(1999 apolloapollo 040) 12", for more good stuff.
