Absolutely agree with the Moanerman review. Lets have the more intelligent gritty intense tracks that permanently implanted I-F receptors in our minds. I'd rather have bunker 26, test pilot volume 1, portrait of a dead girl 1 & 2 re-released as a boxset than this collage of mediocre fumblings. DAMN IT where is the non live version of SUPERMAN?!!! I'm sure there are numerous early I-F tracks I'm yet to hear that obliterate these tracks.
This is your chance to get a lot of early I-f acidtracks that are very hard to find and expensive nowadays. These tracks were previously released on labels such as Reference Analogue Audio, Acid Planet, Bunker, etc. The package also includes some unreleased tracks and edits. The music is as simple as effective: straight 303 and 808 madness, this music is in-your-face, grungy, dirty, brutal, lean and mean. In short: just what a muddy and smoky dancefloor needs. In 2008, a second box of I-f tracks was released on Atlantik Wall which in my opnion contains even better stuff than on this box. If you already had the original releases, this is a fine, fat sounding back-up copy. The only critic that I have is that I would have liked more unreleased tracks on this box.
I would also like to add that the the box is very "Bunkeresque": black vinyl with plain black centerlabels, black innersleeves packed in a simple brown mailer with a little sticker. Yep, it's totally Bunker! :)
