The latest entry from the great Berlin Innervisions Label is by Laurent Garnier. One of his few releases that does not feature in the F Communications catalogue.
At first, I was extremely disappointed after playing through the a-side numerous times, and not finding anything apart from a basic House track with monotonous bass and predictable breakdown. But, flipping over the record brings out the masterpiece in this release. A brilliant effort with an awesome dirty bass building up the track for the first five minutes, when it is taken over by eerie chords, which wouldn´t be out of place on a Philip Glass record. For me, "Panoramix" is the best tune to come out in 2008 and continues to enhance Innervisions growing reputation.

Thank you again, Laurent!
