Bobby Konders - The Poem Review by manchester Sep 05, 2005 (edited over 4 years ago)
The greatest deep house record ever!! with also one of the baddest baselines ever. How can any true house head not appreciate this stunning record. The spoken voice intro is probably the greatest spoken vocal on a house record by the great reggae poet Mutabaruka, which warps you into the groove, before a baseline from heaven grabs you and then the flutes magically take over, hypnotising you to the very end. And to add further delights the track on the b sides 'Massai Women' is an underrated African tribal house beauty that rocks. Bobby Konders we salute you!
