Pépé Bradock & Grand Brûlé's Choir, The - Burning Review by nialloshea Jul 11, 2009
If I could only take one record to remind me in my old age of why I fell in love with dance music, this is the one. I have owned this record a long time and played it to so many different people, so many of whom didn't even like dance music. My mum adores this piece. My Dad, too. All my girlfriends. It's the piece of music other producers sound like in their wet dreams but never will. It's a beautiful masterpiece and I never, ever tire of marveling at it's brilliance.

Pépé Bradock & Grand Brûlé's Choir, The - Burning Review by chrispoole Oct 12, 2007
If someone said to me that they ripped out all emotion they ever had, love, hate, anger, joy, happiness etc and packaged it up sent it off to the pressing plant and got a record made, I would presume that the end product was "Deep Burnt". I listen to this most days and it never gets boring. I can put this on and sit back, chill out and relax or on the contary I could hear this in a club at 4am whilst dripping with sweat and hanging from the walls, and dance like i've never danced before. This is music.

Pépé Bradock & Grand Brûlé's Choir, The - Burning Review by manchester Sep 13, 2005 (edited over 4 years ago)
Classic, classic, classic and again some. This never ever leaves my box. It is one of the most original pieces of house music ever. It sounds completely and utterly timeless. The groove locks you in and is totally spellbinding. Play it in a bar, in a lounge or even in a massive club and it rocks because it's so atmospheric. One of the best pieces of house music from the last 10 years without question - definitely in the top 5 from the last 10 years - ESSENTIAL!

Pépé Bradock & Grand Brûlé's Choir, The - Burning Review by Jooles Aug 27, 2003
Mmmm, Deep Burnt is such a lusciously deep track. Very simple drum pattern, with that hypnotic filtered strings sample, and the cheeky keyboard stabs, it just moves along so sweet. If only life was this uncomplicated!

Pépé Bradock & Grand Brûlé's Choir, The - Burning Review by tomheadspace Jan 08, 2003
The distinctive string hook is actually sampled from Freddie Hubbard's 'Little Sunflower' - to great effect...

this must be pepe bradocks most famous track
its already a classic and has been played and played by everyone
deep melodic pads make this track a lucious deep house anthem
it has even been sampled by Akabu " ride the storm " on NRK
