In this review, I am taking on two outstanding releases from Los Angeles based, Headinghome Recordings. Combining the production talents of So Cal based Ryan Craig and the soulful vocals of Belinda Kazanci; “Believe” (release 003) is an amazing slice of deep house heaven. While the Premature Wig adds an effective peak time, tech house version, it is the moody Hotlips & Hawkeye edit that really sells this track. Up next is “Foreign Sway” (release 004), a lush, sexy minimal house EP, simply drenched in dub-influenced spice and character. If you are looking to add some flavor to your next late night set, you should definitely consider adding these two tracks to your shopping list. Keep your eyes on this label; I am expecting big things from them in the future.
