Mad Mike* & DJ Rolando / Octave One - Aztlan / DayStar Rising Review by d_former Mar 31, 2009
I have two copies.
They were bought few years ago at the Submerge store. Both copies have labels that match the tracks (not like this release).
Sleeves have a white side and a black side.
I think it was manufactured like this to illustrate that two different labels were used to create this so unique record.
The 430 West side was mastered at Metropolis Mastering Chicago (MMMJR).
The UR side has the generic Sound Enterprises logo (NSC) etched on it.
Every copy of this record is unique. True Spirit!!

Mad Mike* & DJ Rolando / Octave One - Aztlan / DayStar Rising Review by JabbaJus Feb 13, 2004
Not as good as the flip side Octave One track, Day Star Rising, but still a good 'un!! with its never relenting beats. As the previous comment states, when played together, as they are on Rolando's Aztec Mystic mix, they really compliment each other.

Mad Mike* & DJ Rolando / Octave One - Aztlan / DayStar Rising Review by baj Sep 19, 2003
Classic UR / Burden Bros. style. Day Star Rising is a star track, with a great mixture of of percussion and nice layering of textures and melodies. Atzlan, though I have to say needs a remix. I think it's too slow, and the percussion breaks up the energy of the track, IMHO..

These tracks are written to be intentionally played together. Take two copies, opposing sides and mix. They fit together like a glove.
