Of all the 18 One releases (up to this one), 'Luo' immediately struck me as something special. Something I'd like to describe as Crème-de-la-Crème. 5 of the 6 tracks on this EP feature Bad Loop's trademark style with it's fresh, original sounds (reminding me of I.S.A.N.'s originality), synthesized, though not analogue in a cliché way. Having said that, Bad Loop doesn't get lost in producing tedious, unstructured, hard-to-digest dribble like many of the "more intelligent dance music" artists and them arty farty fella's, NO, 5 of these tracks are energetic, easily listenable, fresh because of rhythm- and sound-tweaks in the right places. It is a record that can be played on many occasions, proves that in the year of our lord 2000-and-5 it is still possible to make something original in music, and a record that makes me say: "Damn, this guy is good!"
