FUSE* - Dimension Intrusion Review by crazyowen Apr 15, 2008
Yes hypereall has it right on, this album is just amazing. This is one of my all time favorites and the tracks are classics, one after another. This is the kind of music that was just unreal thru huge sound where Richie could let the tracks go on and on with custom edits and freeflowing live work. This album proves how deft he was with acid, its awe-inspiring to me. A definite must have for anyone even remotely interested in acid.

I have to rate this as one of the albums that make me cry & the comments above do not even get near to scratching the surface architecture that creates this album.
From the melodic lead line to the eerie strings that make "a new day" and the emtion fuelled "dimension intrusuion" this album showcases the early experiments in the plastikman evolution. FUSE is the pre-plastikman pre-superstar dj hawtin at his best.My standout track on the album has to be "treychk"
it is a 13'' minute long journey into the inner reaches of hawtins first psyche.
"what's wrong" "for more enjoyment and greater efficiancy"
"take four red capsules , in ten minutes take two more"

I only wish that he had expanded more on his f.u.s.e. creations! becuase it is for me the cornerstone of his career

What an awesome album. You have one of the best acid tracks by Richie Hawtin (Substance Abuse), a great harder techno track (F.U.), a really interesting syncopated acid groover (slac) and a whole bunch of spacy, hypnotic stuff.
