Noisia / Teebee / Noisia/Mayhem* / Verse - Lost Cause / Choke Review by drazel Jul 18, 2008
For their second press, the three dubplates killers known as Noisia invite Subtitles' boss : Teebee.
But far from what we could expect (the older productions of this duo on Subtitles is neuro funk or really space drum'n'bass style, suchlike Moon palace), Lost cause is one big, hudge and heavy track. It will certainly push over the dancefloor.
The dark sub basse of this track, combinated with clear breaked drums (this is Teebee's touch) give you a difficult but sticking movement.
Anyway the bass is good enought for making you move.
When you flip it, Verse come to tell you how this new style will make you Choke, and indeed it works well ! Mayhem always make great duos with Noisia (who's the renegade ?), this track will not change the general idea. The bass line is really good, speed enought to make you move but sub enought to make you feel. A great track.

Hollandia rules !
