It was not the fact that "only" 1000 copies were pressed (not a very stern limitation in my eyes anyway) but the very selective distribution that made this record set so sought after. Only pre-selected record shops offered those sets on two days in summer 2001. Needless to say that most stores ran out of copies on day one already.
