M - sealed. what else could Mint mean?
NM - will probably have been played a few times. plays perfect.
VG+ - may have very very light surface scratches/marks. plays perfect.
VG - no surface noise or groove wear. will have light surface scratches/marks. plays perfect unless indicated otherwise eg. "two clicks heard 20 seconds from outro."
