This is just straight jacking minimal maximal tech house beauty. Physical Fraction takes the listner on a crunchy journey through a future sound that will eventually envelop the planet. Trentemoller's best work thus far. A monster of a choon to be sure. Just don't say you weren't warned . . .

Ellen Allien comes correct with her latest album "Thrills." The first track 'come' is a tough guitar based techno bomb that drops the first devestating note of this killer album. This music will likely be better appreciated in the future, when human brains have evolved enough to understand the delicate subtlety and dynamic complexity of Ellen Allien's music. But, in select circles only, these finer things are definitely appreciated now/

An excellent piece of art. The design is fresh, the music superb. This DVD is hard to come by in the US, but if your on the lee side of the pond you should definitely pick this up. Sparks flying in the dark have never been so cool! A musical and artistic testament of Berlin's Construction Age.

Oh those hand claps! Paul Kalkbrenner's Gebrünn Gebrünn is one of the most fresh and danceable tracks on Bpitch Control in awhile and is a definite milestone for the label. The track samples 20th Century Steel Band's "Heaven And Hell" to great effect. You know the sample . . . "Children working, Women producing . . . Everyone's got to make a living." Gebrünn Gebrünn is an instant classic. Fierce and fresh.

A classic in so many ways. I think that Lisa Lisa's vocal stylings will be recognized in the 2010's for the genius that they are. To date, I believe that nobody has exploited the wealth of samples just waiting to be biten off of this album.
