Profile: Hello Everyone!!!

I'm an Old Skool clubber and now a Old Skool Record Collector/DJ. I was having it large between 1989 -1992 in and around London at venues such as the Labyrinth; Dungeons; Crazy Club, as well as attending numerous Sunrise/M25 warehouse parties!! I loved the Pirate Radio Stations and the best was definitely "Centerforce FM". I was only 15 when I first attended Sunrise 3000 (March 1989) at the Equestrian Centre, opposite Pinewood Studios, and from that day forward my love for "House Music" just grew and grew!! :o)

Over the past 15 years, I have read the "House music" history books; watched the television programmes and travelled the country shifting through tons and tons of dusty Vinyl to build up my record collection. It has been a hobby which has taken me beyond just the tunes I heard in 1989 onwards in London, but back to tunes created in Chicago (1983) and Detroit (1981). The hairs on my head still stand on end and send a warm shiver all around my body for those special tunes!!

I hope that my collection inspires you in some way, as it does me. If you have any old video footage of raves and clubs, I would love to see them; if you have any old Pirate radio tapes, I would love to hear them; If you want to ask any questions or to talk "House" my eyes and ears are always open.

If you see a record you want that I have, ask me, I might have 2 copies!! If you have a record you think I might want let me know!

KEEP THE FIRES BURNING..... FOREVER!!

PEACE.

Various - Funky Mix / On And On - 04-Jan-04 04:55 AM
This record is the one that Jesse Saunders used for years in the early 80's for his Dj sets. As fate would have it, Jesse's copy was stolen one night and he decided he would recreate the track himself and press it up. It was "On and On" by "Jesse Saunders" on his label "Jes Say" records. The 1st ever house track to be pressed!! Although I love both versions... I do prefer Mach's Version.
