Nowadays Big Beat is dead. This compilation by the big beat boutique is a real pearl, a real masterpiece. Big beat is that kind of sound which can satisfy people who love electronic music, of course, but people who like rock or hip-hop too. In fact, thanks to this compilation, my musical univers have been larger and I learnt to appreciate hip-hop & rock stuff. I think more people should try to listen to big beat...and stop thinking that this sound is not interesting. Take some breakbeat, hip-hop, rock, house, and acid sound...shake it..and you have the best big beat compilation ever. BUY IT !

Technically, this album is a crap...too much sampled, artistically bad...But This group is the most attractive breakbeat thing I've ever heard. Okay! It's bad...but your ears love it nevertheless. Listen to "Coz I Can"...hard, sulfurous, this track makes you wanna jump in the air.

King Britt is a real god of mental music. His remix with the scuba aliase of High Priestess by Karma is a real deep house masterpiece. Listen to the philadelphia experiment too, for sure U'll become a fan of king britt!
